Custom Stone Tubes developped in the factory exclusively for facades needs
Located in the new district of Lusail, this innovative facade was designed by RDAI architects for a luxury shop.
The Romeo Workshops have pushed their innovation around Stone Tubes to produce 5m long profiles.
These extreme dimensions for the material have been possible thanks to the knowledge of the performance of our exclusive product “Stone Tubes” and the mastery of our workshops. The semi-structural profiles have a dimension of 8 cm x 4 cm. This thinness is most appreciated on the screens in front of the podiums which are double-sided.
The entire facade was safely managed by the installation team and did not require any special lifting equipment due to small weight of each pieces. The installers were able to install the profiles one after the other, securing the elements with two mechanical fastening points at the top and bottom over a length of 5ml.
In addition to the technological innovations, our product allowed this manufacturing process based on 100% recycled stone. No material was purchased to produce this facade. It’s the production offcuts from previous works, in addition to the ability of our teams, that have made this project possible.

Furnitures production
We produced a fully hollowed out and reinforced console to meet the light weight requirements of the work site. This recess in the material allowed the architects to integrate the electrical system of the furniture.
Our technology: invisible joints, was used in 3D whereas it is initially used for panel-type cladding (as it is also the case on this work site).
Indeed, this console for a private room has all the characteristics of a massive stone. The export of this technology on the reconstruction of massive stone blocks has shown all the richness and ideas of our workshops to surround decoration and architecture studios.
