The 410 Collection

A group of collectable stone sculptures with embedded LED technology that function as four lamps. Inspired by tactile product design and memories, the collection is a story narrated by the designer, Meshary AlNassar.

The story highlights the designer’s interaction with nature at a young age, and nostalgic moments that involved the five senses in everything from tree, stone courtyards and days under the sunlight.

Made from prehistorical ocean Travertine, the three sculptures are designed with different lighting sources that can be controlled via smart phone application.

Tramonto

Description

Translates into “Sunset” in Italian, Tramonto highlights the connection between the body and head of this sculpture, just like the sun setting on the horizon.

Made from a square base that extrudes up into a body made of stone, Tramonto stands as high as 2.8 Meters, postured like the graceful statue that it is.

Radici

Stone : silver travertino

Description

Italian for roots, Radici is inspired by the deep roots of a palm tree.

Forming from a heavy base of Travertino, Radici curves from the ground, and up into a trunk of light, soaring up to almost three meters high.

An LED light strip strikes the face of this sculpture, creating an ambient light when placed against a wall.

Ulivo

Stone : silver travertino

Description

Inspired by the tenderness of an olive tree.

Using modern technology that reinforces stone, the silver travertine was carved into three elongated tubes that twist into a tender trunk, and spreads its branches out at a height of 2.8 meters.

Ulivo was designed to have three linear LED lighting strips embedded into its branches, shining its light downwards.
